The spectacular Huka Falls are New Zealand's most visited and photographed natural attraction. The thundering 11 metre high falls on the Waikato River pump a volume of 220,000 litres of water over the rock face every second. There are walking tracks and viewing platforms alongside the river and the water is a beautiful crystal clear blue on a sunny day.
