Hostels are the perfect accommodation option for backpackers travelling New Zealand. From classic backpackers to ultra modern, to quirky, or recommended hostels are well equipped and comfortable while being affordable and well positioned. We always look for a combo of great location, wifi, atmosphere and rating to ensure you’ll be sleeping easy and catching them zzzzs.
Kiwi Experience driver guides will take care of finding you a comfy and affordable bed that delivers good ol’ Kiwi hospitality as you travel around with us.
Accommodation is not included in your travel pass, but we reserve accommodation for you at every Kiwi Experience overnight stop on the first night; even in peak season when accommodation can be hard to come by. In the sweet spots such as Taupo and Franz Josef, we offer two nights guaranteed… and in the adrenaline capital, Queenstown even offer three. Across certain locations, you may also have the option to treat yo’self to an upgraded room.
