This trip was a once in a lifetime, tailored experience. Our tour guide Tina worked tirelessly to ensure every single person (there was 20 of us) was happy and had a fun and unique experience. Her knowledge of the country is unmatched, and her enthusiasm and determination to make things work always shined despite setbacks we experienced (bus issues, etc). If you want a one of a kind trip, request Tina!!!!!!

The Kiwi Experience is probably one of the best things I have ever done. It was the most relaxing, informative and affordable mode of travel I have ever tried, and I have made some life-long friendships on the bus too. The drivers are fantastic; really kind and knowledgeable about everything you see, and happy to help with just about anything. Couldn’t rate this experience highly enough, 10/10.

Kiwi Experience has been a great way to explore New Zealand, it’s shown me places I never even knew existed! It has been a simple and effortless approach to backpacking, socialising with so many nationalities and partaking in so many activities I never thought I’d do! Kiwi gives great discounts on both accommodation and activities throughout both islands, whilst also giving friendly advice on which places are worth visiting and ones that aren’t as good. Drivers also give running commentaries on interesting facts on places along the journey, making the very few long journeys much better. All drivers have been super friendly and helpful towards our experience of travelling. A special mention goes to lightening who was brilliant! From joining us White Water Rafting to having nights out with the group - he was great! I couldn’t recommend this more for those who want to travel New Zealand.

Kiwi experience is in all ways a perfect way to get the best out of New Zealand. It is easy to just jump off and jump on the bus from the recomended accomondations, which is good ones! And they help you find out what to do and what not to do at all stops. The drivers are passionated and really kind, especially Cowboy and Lightning - they are doing an amazing job making sure we all have the best experiences travelling around the country. They do stops to see scenic spots on the way and they tell stories and fun facts doing the journey. You will love it - especially as a solo traveller as the drivers put a lot of effort into making you feel comfortable around the other people on the bus, kinda trying to make you one big family.

Best 19 days in NZ! Met the most amazing people and saw the most stunning of places - all lead by the truly remarkable, Terence. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough! It’s a MUST.

Cannot recommend this enough. I did the Grand Kiwi Experience, exploring almost all highlights of both the North and South Island, led by the incredible and very entertaining, Terence. He was great at driving, filling us in on New Zealand, and was extremely flexible on what we wanted to do and see. I was nervous at first as a solo traveler, but the people on the trip made the whole experience a trip of a lifetime. Wish I could relive it!

This trip was amazing! Kelvin and Connor were fantastic guides - great fun and really helpful. Everything was fantastic :)

I did it with my boyfriend and we met so many groups of people and made lovely friends! We enjoyed every minute, loved every one of our stops! Our driver the whole trip was Lightning! He is AMAZING! So knowledgeable, took us to all the best spots, very friendly, funny, kind (always made sure we were happy and took care of any issues we had!) Couldn’t have asked for a batter tour guide/driver. THANK YOU LIGHTNING! X
