This small group guided full day trip from Auckland will take you to a trilogy of epic sights. Head north to the beautful wildlife reserve of Tawharanui Regional Park and do some hiking and go for a swim. Afterwards we head to Matakana for lunch and then onwards to Goat island where you will have the opportunity to snorkel in this marine reserve or hire a clearyak (a transparent kayak) giving you a great view of the marine wildlife below. After this action packed day we head back to Auckland late afternoon.

Departing Auckland we head north to the pristine beaches of Tawharanui Regional Park. Here you have the option to relax, swim and hike around the stunning coastline of Tawaharanui Regional Park. After some time here we'll head to Matakana Village where you'll get time to explore the local area and have some lunch. Afterwards we'll head to Goat Island Marine reserve where you'll have the opportunity to swim and snorkel in the marine reserve, full of brightly coloured fish. You also have the opportuity to hire a 'Clearyak' - a transparent kayak which gives you the ability to see the fish swim beneath you as you kayak around Goat Island. After this action packed day we'll head back to Auckland late afternoon.
I’m a solo traveller... will I meet other solo travellers?
Absolutely! The majority of our passengers are travelling solo. Kiwi Experience is a social experience guaranteed to leave with new friends from across the globe.
Am I too old/young for Kiwi Experience?
We welcome the young, and the young at heart aboard our buses, there is no upper limit! There is however a lower limit; you’ll need to be 18 at the time of travel.
What are your COVID-19 Health and Safety measures?
Now that New Zealand has moved to Level 2, bus travel is permitted. We will ensure that we adhere strictly to government guidelines for tourism operators to minimise risk to our travellers, staff and operators.
