Experiencing the possimpable

When I booked this I didn't know what kiwi experience exactly was but I'm so happy that I booked it. I heared about it from a friend and I trusted him without doing to much research. Kiwi experience gave me the best time of my life and the best friends I will have maybe ever.

Great way to travel!

If you are young and traveling alone this is a great option for you! It is so easy to make friends and you don’t need to worry about what activities to do and how to get there because the bus takes care of that. It also provides accommodation easily. Even if you are traveling with friends this is still a great experience. I highly recommend.

Amazing Trip around North and South Islands!

My fiancee and I booked the Backyard pass to see both Islands and loved it. Our main bus driver ("Cowboy") was very friendly and went way above and beyond to help out with any questions, queries or problems we had throughout our trip (both when we were riding with him or on other buses). He also provided excellent commentary on points of interest along the way to help you learn about the country and culture. It is a great way to see the most possible in a short period of time. One word of slight caution is that the bus isn't quite as hop on and hop off as advertised during peak season as all the buses are full each day. This isn't a problem if you have plenty of time to explore as you can spend an extra day in places until a space is available. We didn't have any problems with this as we decided how long we were going to stay in each stop about a month in advance and booked it all in, but it does mean if you want to be more flexible but only have a short amount of time in the country you may struggle. That being said several people did manage to change their plans around with a few calls to the Kiwi office. All in all I would highly recommend kiwi experience! Roll on the Steel Horse!!!

Fun and games

I enjoyed myself a lot. Kiwi experience is an easy and comfortable way to travel. I met amazing people. They could have made some things more clear on their website. I was very happy otherwise.

Incredible Experience

The Kiwi Experience is an awesome way to travel round New Zealand! Branded as a hop on-hop off pass, you get so much more than just transport! You get a fantastic, knowledgeable and friendly driver who helps organise all your accommodation, activities and continuing travel. You stop off on route to get snacks and see some picturesque locations. Just jump in and get involved!

Great for meeting people and seeing the country!

The KiwiExperience bus tour is great for when you're traveling the country on your own and you haven't seen anything of New Zealand yet. The stops on the tour (with exception to a view) are well chosen and I loved that you're getting dropped off at landmarks and cool spots like lakes and waterfalls on the way from one town to the other. This being said, be prepared to spend a lot of time on the bus. There are several toilet, food, and supermarket stops on the way that take up a lot of time, so you'll never arrive at your destination before 2pm. Busses leave pretty early too the next day which means you oftentimes hardly get any time to explore the place you're staying at if you're doing one night only. All in all I would recommend KiwiExperience since the fact that you're traveling with a fun group of young people and still get to see the main spots of the whole country made up for the time "lost" on the bus in my opinion!
