Kiwi bus is fantastic for solo travellers who want to explore New Zealand with the ease of catching busses with (generally) other like-minded people. I started in the South and travelled North and found that most people had hopped off and finished their trip in Queenstown and that some of the busses were reasonably quiet so i'd recommend starting your trip North going southbound from Auckland. The drivers were really helpful and often went out of their way to organise activities for me, but they will not wait around for latecomers (or on-timecomers in a lot of cases) so make sure you get to the bus stop 15 mins before departure time. Lots of kids taking their 'gap yah' on the Kiwi Bus with their dads credit card, nonetheless everybody seemed to have a cracking time at each stop and the kiwi hostels were perfecto.

I bought this in Sydney, I am so happy I did it, I had a bus of great people and the two main drivers of Ninja and Andrea were just too good, they made the trip even better.

With kiwi experience you are sure to see the best parts and the most of the country. You even get most of the adventures at a discount! Kiwi experience is very social, but if you want some privacy (if you are travelling with a boyfriend like me, or a girlfriend) that is a possible too. Overall a great experience!

It was really a great way to see and experience New Zealand. I had thought it would be more of a hop off hop on whenever you want kinda thing, instead of prebooking everything, but it was still great!

For my first time travelling alone Kiwi experience made it so simple and fun, you can relax and take in your trip. I would highly recommend going to see New Zealand with them it is a beautiful place with endless amount of breath taking scenery and activities along the way for people to part take in. Drivers were helpful, funny and friendly would like to especially thank Hamish (south island driver) his interaction with the group added something special to the experience, we sang song played games told stories, there was never a dull moment so thank you

It was the most convenient way of getting round the country with likeminded young individuals, all the people we met were great fun and will be friends for a longtime. a slight criticism was the trip felt like a school trip at time unless you get off the bus for longer than minimum time. Overall an excellent experience

I've recently finished my month long trip on the Kiwi Experience , it was a great way to see the country, meeting great people and seeing amazing views along the way! Would recommend it to anyone!

Being able to cover so much yet see so much was brilliant, our bus driver - Ninja was an absolute star. Always helpful and inciteful and ready to have a good time with us when he saw appropriate. By far the best bus driver.

The kiwi bus was a great way to meet fellow travellers going round New Zealand. Met some fantastic people that really made the trip worth it. The bus drivers were fantastic, always had good local knowledge and were happy to count themselves as part of the group. Only downside was if you didn’t have extra days, you sometimes missed out on seeing the destinations properly due to bus timings. In general, loved the pass and would recommend to any solo traveller.

Great tour if you want to be able to experience new Zealand hassle free. Most of the guides are great and the buses are very convienent. It is also a good way to meet people during your travels as well.
