without doubt the best 20 days of summer vacation. The places, the people, do not be afraid to go alone. The world is full of people and you are the missing piece in this new experience.

Joined the bus as I was travelling alone and found it quite daunting, but the whole experience was very friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I can’t recommend the kiwi experience more, myself and my friend Lydia had great drivers, met friends for life and saw the most beautiful scenes I have ever seen!

I have always wanted to travel New Zealand but didn’t have the time to plan a big trip. After speaking to my friend who lived in NZ he advised me to do the route from Auckland to Christchurch. It was great because there were so many activities arranged, accommodation if you wanted it and I was able to spend time longer if I wished.

What an experience! Met fantastic people, had great friendly drivers, done so many awesome activities and seen the beautiful scenery NZ has to offer. Possibly the best trip I’ve ever been on.

After deliberating for far too long, I booked the tour just 2 days before setting off. The first day I was a bit lost and unsure of what I was doing. Luckily there was a bus full of people in the exact same situation. After bonding by comparing jet lag I was left with a great group of friends who encouraged me to do more activities than I had initially planned to do. Usually these activities were my favourite. I would definitely recommend Kiwi Experience to anyone who is willing to do activities, and to anyone who is open to meeting new people. Also stay away from Base hostels if you can. And buy a sim for data. Wifi is not plentiful or free in most places.

Best experience of my life, I was limited with time and wanted to do and see as much as possible as quickly as possible and kiwi experience was brilliant. Best bus driver was Cowboy - great laugh and offered the best advice ! Highly recommend it.

Kiwi Experience is a great way to see a lot of New Zealand. They bring you to the most important places and can book a lot of acitivities for you and you even get a discount on a lot of them. Please don't think you only need minimum time like the stops on Kiwi. You should definitely have some extra nights in some places. Kiwi also recommends them. If you are travelling in high season (starts in November!) you should definitely pre-book your seats. A lot of people didn't do that and they had problems because they got on the stand-by list. Also pre-book hostels for your extra nights because they are not garantueed by Kiwi Experience. But all the information is on their homepage but a lot of people don't seem to prepare and read those. It's not a guided tour, you are responsible for your vacation and you have to plan it yourself. Your experience depends heavily on the other travellers and your drivers. I had some amazing drivers and some who weren't. It's also a good way to meet new people. You can either associate yourself with people who like to party or you can befriend people who don't.

I used the kiwi bus for the first month of my year travelling New Zealand and hope to use it again whist I'm here. I met the most amazing groups of people, did the mosy fun, crazy things and generally had the best time ever!
