The highlight of all my travels! Made friebds for life while having the best experience seeing the north and south islands of new Zealand!!

I travelled through NZ in February 2017. Started in Auckland and finished in Christchurch. We finished the loop early as the last part, back on the North island, backtracks on itself a little bit. We then flew back to Auckland to save time. Ww had an incredible 4 weeks in New Zealand that I would recommend to anyone! There are big activities you can do nearly every day,and they are spread out quite well throughout the country. I spent around £2500/£3000 whilst there in 4 weeks. We only missed two trips out due to wanting to save money for the rest of travelling. We went in their summer, so the weather was perfect 95% of the time. We had rain once. The only downfall to the summer is that it's peak season and the 'hop-on hop-off' feature is quite hard to do. If you stay somewhere longer than the recommended time, you are off the bus. And the bus behind might be full. So you can get stuck in one place until a seat is available on another bus. That being said, hardly anyone on the bus deviates from the recommended time. And the two times we did, we were fortunate and got on a bus the day we wanted to continue. I recommend at least 5/6 days in QUEENSTOWN! By far the best place. So much to do! You will make friends for life. Enjoy!

The kiwi experience is a great opportunity for when you want to travel but not alone. You will meet a lot of people and see the highlights. It would not be my first choice when you can find travel mates in another way because you can't stop whenever you want. But thats the only thing.

I was in New Zealand last year from December - January so booked onto the kiwi experience. Don't get me wrong it's great, you meet new people and get transported around however after doing the greyhound bus in Australia straight after I feel the kiwi one could be improved. I just found it sometimes felt like a school trip where you'd have to be up and out by a certain time, and you had to stop off at every single stop even if you didn't want to, resulting in money being spent for the sake of it. Other than that, I enjoyed the bus and the group I was with made my NZ trip worthwhile!

The bus trip was good organised. I liked the possibility to book some activities directly in the bus. The buses are not always the newest, but they're fine. WLAN isn't really everywhere. But instead of using WLAN you can chat with some nice people from all around the world. I would recommend the Kiwi Experience bus for people under the age of 25.

Bought a ticket to New Zealand, hopped on a bus and had one of the most amazing experiences.
