Have been on the kiwi experience (Sheepdog) for the last month, and have had the best time. I've seen one of the most beautiful countries in a highly social environment while on the bus.

Kiwi experience has been a great investment. I've seen so many fantastic places in NZ and made incredible memories on activities along the way. Thank you to all the bus drivers!!

The kiwi bus worked out perfectly for me in New Zealand. I was able to meet loads of new people, many now being friends, and also see nearly all of the spectacular sights I wanted to. The route was excellent and changing buses wasn't too difficult. Only issue was occasionally poorer hostels, usually base or nomads, but it's easy to book separate accommodation so this isn't a major problem

When we hopped on our first Kiwi Experience bus in Auckland we had no expectations, we just though it would be a good way to get around NZ. Once on the bus though, we realised that Kiwi Ex is so much more than just a transport. Our driver made the journey so great by telling us about the things we saw along the way and the people we met made our trip amazing! My only regret is that we didn't take the time to stay longer. The only thing I have to complain about is the accomodation and activities offered by Kiwi. We learned along the way that there were better and cheaper places to stay than the ones offered by Kiwi and also that some of the activities could be done with other, less expensive, companies. However, that is easily fixed by simply looking up places to stay on your own and doing some research on activities. Overall we had a great experience with Kiwi and I would absolutely travel with them again.

I bought this last year and started it now, after traveling with a car. I'm glad that I did it.

Great way to meet people. However it runs to a very strict itinerary each day which isn't for everyone. Also the Kiwi Experience uses Base/Nomads as its preferred hostel in all the towns/cities - they are TERRIBLE and halfway through my trip I decided to book my own hostels instead as I couldn't bear to stay in them any more.

Even if it's look expensive, kiwi ex is an amazing way to travel. Perfect if you're alone and you want to meet people in the same mind. Drivers are crazy they share their knowledge all around the way. They help you and make sur you enjoy your trip. Kiwi ex is a lot more than just a bus !!

The kiwi experience is a great thing to do, however I found i was essentially paying for a bus service. There are massive perks; such as the guaranteed accommodation and discounted activities, however it was a massive fee for a bus service. The people we met was amazing and it offers a great service in that regard. I do understand New Zealand is an expensive place and Kiwi Ex does a good job to limit that, but it is still expensive. I would recommend it to many friends but would emphasise the money needed.

Such a good experience! The whole trip has been really easy to plan and adapt to what suited me best. The guaranteed accommodation took some of the strain off travelling. I loved all the little stops off along the way!

Kiwi Experience has been a fab end to my 6 month trip- loved meeting new people and seeing the beautiful scenery of New Zealand.
