It was a great way to dress much of NZ. I have friends who have been in NZ for two years and haven't seen as much as I have.

All round a great way to see New Zealand! Really liked the fact that you stop at random places for walks and photo opportunities.. good selection of activities to choose from but sometimes cheaper although not as easy to find and book your own! We were travelling at peak time and found that if you're organised and decide early on how long you want to spend in each place, then the trip runs much smoother and you reduce the problem of thinking you're guaranteed a seat on the bus when actually you're on standby! I imagine this makes the drivers job easier as well!

Myself and a friend did the kiwi experience which finished a few days ago and I would recommend it to anyone!!! Can't think of a better way to see New Zealand, especially if you don't have a long time - the drivers know so much about all the stops and give so many opportunities to do loads of amazing activities! Would do it again in a heartbeat!!! Make sure you get Guy as a driver, that guy is an actual legend!!

3 of us came over. Literally done everything we could do. Drivers were amazing, hostels were decent in most destinations. Gonna miss the big green bus!

Kiwi Experience is a great way to travel New Zealand - especially when you travel alone. It's so easy and you meet heaps of other people and make new friends! :-))

I went into the KEx a little apprehensively because I'd heard the horror stories about "lads on tour" and a young, pre-university crowd (I'm 26). However, I didn't find any of the concerns to be valid. I met some fantastic people and the bus really is the easiest way to get around the country. I did feel that the bus sometimes stopped more than necessary which served to turn a short journey into a long, wasted day and that some of the "deals" and partner hostels weren't very good (Base hostels are terrible value for money!) which has prevented this from being a 5* review. All in all, I had a fantastic 6 weeks though. The hop on/off nature of the buses is a real selling point and I fully made use of this and recommend to anyone to do the same.

It has been more a spontaneous decision as my travel plans changed again and instead of searching for new travelmates I decided on something totally different - the kiwi experience. It was the best decision, no camping, every night a safe place in a hostel, a looooot of new amazing people and what is the best when you want to be lazy is that almost everything is already planned, you don't have to worry about anything. The only thing is that you have to plan your trip a bit before as the hostels and also the bus is really busy. But in the end I had so much fun with amazing people in a amazing country.

Kiwi Expierince is perfect for young people and the best for people traveling alone! The bus stops at the best places and they give you guaranteed accommodations in the best hostels I've ever been to on my whole trip. Everything is pretty cheap and you mostly get some good offers for food in the hostels or the bus just stops at a supermarket and you can cook yourself. It is very easy to hop on- and off the bus and you can be as flexible as you been on your whole trip! The only negative thing is, that in the main season it often happens, that you can't get on the bus you want to after spending more nights than common in a hostel.

I bought this ticket because I really wanted to explore New Zealand and KiwiExperience enabled me to do this in a such an enjoyable way

We booked our passes on a travelcenter and did not know what it really was, but it was a really nice Experience. Kind people, good drivers, and a good Office who makes everything going.
