We traveled on the Sheep Dog route for a month and found all the drivers very informative and helpful. They made booking activities easy and insured we got discount. The bus's wifi doesn't last very long at all, but is handy. The bus stopped at many photos stops where you capture great landscape moments to share with family.

It was a lot of fun but there were parts of the trip when it get a bit rushed and I would have liked a bit more time. For example - some stops for hikes were for only e.g 20mins but the hikes started at 40 mins. Also didn't have enough time in puzzleworld. All the drivers were great. Some of the hostels (the smaller independent ones) were excellent. The trip from the north island to the south was very long. Not sure if there is anything that can be changed but worth mentioning that we spent pretty much all day travelling. Would definitely recommend the kiwi experience trip :)

A lot of confusion about booking, bad communication between driver and the office and be aware of the 48-hour reply-policy they have! It's though a nice and relaxed way to travel IF you have booked the bus for the entire trip! If you want to stay an extra night somewhere make sure you have a phone you can call the office with - at the time they apply your email it's to late.

I purchased by transport through Kiwi experience and it allowed me to meet some really good friends and provided a great service to travel New Zealand.

This was the most amazing experience ever- especially because of cuddles!

I bought my pass whilst studying abroad in Australia. I had no idea what New Zealand would offer me but it has completely converted a once very indoorsy Netflix fan into someone who actually loves nature. The bus was so much fun, well organised and let you see so much of the beautiful country that I would not have been able to see on my own. I would recommend this to anyone.

Good way to travel through NZ, but very difficult to book your different busses and make sure you had a seat, by calling the office every time.

One of the best decisions I've ever made, and it was a complete impulse buy when I arrived in Auckland. I'm a consistently introverted person and I still made tons of friends and great memories on my journey. Would definitely recommend. The only negative is the northbound route after Christchurch is quite dull and could use some more destinations, maybe along the east coast of north island? It very much feels like they're just trying to hurry you back up to Auckland. Other than that, I had an absolutely phenomenal time. It's a very efficient way to see a lot of the country.
