I had never really heard of Kiwi before, it's not really advertised in Australia, but my housemates told me to do it, as they had. I'm so glad I did. There is always an amazing ticket on sale, the drivers are informative and really cool people, and we got to see so many amazing places, that I had never even expected to see. I didn't expect to be stopping for incredible hikes along the way!

Done the kiwi experience in August for 5 weeks and would recommend to anyone going to New Zealand! Makes traveling around the country so much easier and fun!

I am so happy I got to see NZ with Kiwi Experience! We packed so many things into our adventure. Give yourself a good deal of time so you can stay in places you didn't expect to.

Perfect for travellers who aren't confident to travel alone. Can be a good way to make friends, alternatively does breed the formation of 'bus groups' leading to a certain clique which needs to be prevented.

You meet so many awesome people to travel with and make friends for a lifetime. It's so good to have friends all around the world. But the best thing of all is the mentality of the bus drivers. People you can have a lot of fun with. The only bad thing is that when it's bad weather you have no opportunity to come back and see it again. But you're doing an awesome job!

As someone who has travelled a lot before, I was nervous to take on the Kiwi Experience because usually I organise everything myself, I wasn't sure if I would like the 'toured' experience. However, it was hands-down one of the best decisions I made! The whole trip was so stress free and relaxed, which meant that I got to spend every single day of my trip just enjoying myself and soaking in gorgeous New Zealand. Discounted prices on the activities were a massive bonus and I managed to squeeze so much more into my time. The hop on hop off service was fabulous too, I changed my buses a lot and the office were so easy to deal with! The best part of my trip was being surrounded by other likeminded fun people on the bus who also wanted to have a fun and adventure-filled time. Some of them are best friends I know I will keep forever, they taught me that no solo traveller is ever alone!

The tour is really an example to be followed. After 5 months in Asia sorting out travel ourselves, the kiwi experience was a breath of fresh air to have everything done for you and all the places (even on the way!) given information and a bit of history for. All the drivers are fantastic, they become your friend. It's the perfect way to see New Zealand and its amazing scenery. Also their honesty about describing the activities is much appreciated, you don't get the impression they are in it for the commission at all. Thanks so much for the best month ever!
