I have been planning my trip for over 6 months, I am just making my way back up to Auckland after the best 5 weeks of my life. From the moment I stepped on that bus I felt at ease. The drivers are so knowledgable and friendly. The activities are amazing and the people you meet along the way will be friends for life. If I could go round and do it all again I would in an instant. You are in control of your itinerary where you stop off and how long for and kiwi experience are there to help you with those decisions. I honestly didn’t think it was going to be as good as it has been, I have met so many new friends, as a solo traveller is was rather daunting but it was very easy to get into the swing of things. There are so many activities to do, I dont think there has been a highlight to this trip as it just got better and better as you went along. My favourite places have to be Bay of islands, Taupo and Queenstown. Thank you so much for this amazing trip!!

Best experience ever. Met so many good people and did things that are completely exclusive that i will remember forever!!! Cowboy was the best, made us all a family and couldn't be more kind and helpful!

I have loved travelling on the kiwi bus and think it is so good that you can hope off and stay in places for as long as you like and then continue on your travels, our driver cowboy was the best and all the people I meet from all over the world, just incredible and I'm glad it's not over yet :))

i booked Kiwi experience because my sister did it a few years ago and we always saying how much she enjoyed the experience. i was unsure as to what to expect but thought i’d go for it. my overall experience was incredible and the more i’ve i spend in new zealand the more i fell in love with it. i finished the trip with a group of 14 new friends that made my experience what it was me it was so hard to leave. i will definitely be back to new zealand soon. we had loads of different drivers all of which are super lovely and friendly and make you feel really at ease, one stood out to me in particular was fraser, her was driving our overflow bus, not only was he lovely and up for a laugh but surprised us all when he pulled over to help out with a crash, the kiwi driver infron chose not to stop to help the crash, but fraser stopped which surprised me as no many would. i was really impressed and happy that he wanted to help as we had people on the bus who were trained to help and i think it was such an admirable thing to do. fraser always joined in with us and made the experience even more enjoyable. overall the kiwi experience made my short month in new zealand the most incredible experience.

A fantastic to travel around New Zealand, especially as a solo traveller. The best way to make friends for life and see the interesting bits of New Zealand that I would of otherwise missed. Would reccomenend to anyone travelling NZ!

Pros Perfect organization, zero stress, always time to do activities, met lots of friends, hostels are actually very nice apart from maybe 2, drivers are always very helpful. Not only just a transport option, you see a lot more of the country cause the drivers stop for walks/picture stops in places you wouldn't know about. My advice is to hop off and spend more time in different locations (especially Abel Tasman!!!!), even if most people from your bus will leave you'll always meet new friends on the next bus! Loads of social activities/ parties / nights out, had the best time!!!! Cons "Best price" on activities is definitely not true: always found better prices on a deals app, same for hostels most times was cheaper online. Most activities are SO overpriced for what they are, but I guess that's just NZ. There was some bedbug cases in 2 hostels (eww!)

It's a great way to experience New Zealand if you want to have some fun and learn some facts about the counrty. You can see a lot in a short time.
