Before joining the bus I thought it was literally transport that will get me from A - B! This is not the case at all, you have so much included and it’s basically like being on a flexible tour as your drivers are so knowledgeable and can sort all your activities and accommodation out for you! I started in Auckland and went all the way down to South Island and back up with the same driver “Cowboy” as he was so amazing and was more like a brother to everyone than a driver! The activities are real value for money - the accommodation is good, but very standard so sometimes we stayed in a different one to what kiwi would recommend! As a whole, I would tell anyone who is looking to travel Nz on a budget to do Kiwi as they will make friends for life and get to see the country in an awesome way!

Convenient way to get around in NZ and you meet nice people

Nice stopps during the days, nice drivers, Bus clean and comfortable, unfortunately less Buses during winter, good and bad accomodations

The only thing I regret, is not being able to stay in New Zealand longer to continue on my Kiwi experience! The people I met were fantastic, the whole atmosphere of my bus made it SO MUCH FUN, and my first bus driver was brilliant! I would recommend this to anyone that is up for socialising with a fabulous bunch of people !!

Travelling with kiwi experience has been one of the best things I have ever done, especially after being so worried about travelling on my own. The drivers were friendly, helpful and very passionate and knowledgable about New Zealand (even Robb who is from Australia but was definitely my favourite). Buying a pass ultimately means not having to worry about finding accommodation, as extremely nice and unique hostels are reserved for passengers (although not always the cheapest with Hostelworld giving cheaper prices than that quoted by drivers) Prices of activities are reduced and booking through the bus usually guarantees the chance to do an activity on that same day. The kiwi bus offers the chance to stop off at unique and remote locations that would otherwise be out of the way or difficult to reach. The ‘craic’ is great, the jokes are often flowing from the drivers (not always funny) and everyone on the bus gets to know each other in one way or another

The value for the price was completely worth it! I can't believe how much we saw and did in just a week. Rick was an amazing guide and I would definitely do a tour with Kiwi Experience again.

Such a good experience, so helpful and really informative yet funny, learnt and saw so much more than if I would have done it on my own!

Overall a valued experience and one which I would recommend to other budget travellers
