I went on the Kiwi Experience in late July, and I completed the Funky Chicken travel package. I had THE BEST bus driver, Cowboy. His commentary and thoughtfulness really made my trip ten times better. I got to explore amazing scenery, meet so many great people, and do the most insane excurisions. This trip was like a dream, and I wish I could do it all over again.

When I booked Kiwi Experience I thought it was similar to greyhound - boy was I wrong! I had an absolutely amazing month being looked after by our drivers and meetings amazing new people. I was worried that being 27 would put me out of the range to have fun with the group but I really loved every minute and never felt pressured to buy trips etc.

Don't regret buying a bus pass - it was a great way to travel around NZ. Should've downloaded the app so that I had a better idea about what was happening each day but they offer great experiences but they are on the expensive side. Definitely recommending saving up a fair bit of money before going on the bus so you don't miss out on some amazing experiences.

Bought this pass with little research done before hand, I was quite anxious because I don't usually enjoy organized trips like bus tours but the people I met and Jonty and Toddy our drivers were the best. I've made friends for life and now I know exactly what I want to see and experience in more depth next time I come to NZ.

Everything about the trip was brilliant. The stop offs made were beautiful. Everything was organised by the lovely drivers. The drive it’s self was smooth and the driver very knowledgeable and the scenery was stunning. On top of that there is activity sheets handed round so you can partake or not, whatever suits you. Accom all sorted also and some really nice specialty stays too. I would highly recommend the kiwi experience tour to anyone of all ages indefinitely. Thank you KiwiEx

My friend and I booked the bus tour for Milford Sound last month, it was AMAZING!! It was so nice to be able to just sit back, relax, and enjoy the journey there. There was so much to see along the way. Our bus driver, Arias, had sweet tunes goin the whole way, was super knowledgeable, and gave loads of fun facts as we were goin. Definitely recommended!

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic trip with Kiwi Experience, they made everything so easy and stress free the whole time. It was a great opportunity to make friends with other travellers as well! Perfect for 18-30 year olds. However it does have restrictions being on a bus as you have to follow the buses route and timetable so wouldn't suit everyone.

I was initially dubious about signing on but it was the best decision I’ve made. The bus took us to the best spots in the North Island, without me having to organise anything myself. I was lucky that my bus was full of fun people, but the bus driver also helped to create an upbeat atmosphere. I cannot recommend the Experience enough.

It was such a great tour with many nice Travel-mates and drivers. We saw a lot of nice places, stayed in good hostels and got dicounts on every activity. I would ever do this again. Unfortunately there were sometimes too many photo-stopps on our way but otherwise it was good to see even side-Attractions. The office was always very helpful and friendly!!
