Great way to get around and meet people

Me and my partner booked this as we love backpacking and try to make each holiday a little adventure. Kiwi Ex was a great way to meet fellow travellers and friends for life! When you jump out of a plane or off a bridge with someone, you get to know them pretty well. Its great having accommodation and activities pre-booked, there's no phoning up, just tick your name on a clipboard. Easy peasy. This is a once in a lifetime trip that you'll never regret booking!

My Kiwi Experience

I bought the ticket 1 month bevor coming to New Zealand. As I was travelling on my own I knew going by bus would be a lot easier and cheaper. It was defenitely the right choice for me because I got to know so many cool people and I was able to see so many places in a short amount of time. I think if I didn't travel with Kiwi Experience I would have missed out on many cool places and activities!

Fab way to see the best parts of NZ

We brought the whole kit and caboodle before leaving the UK at a really good price. We've enjoyed seeing NZ and being able to do activities we may not have seen if doing it by ourselves. A great experience and it allowed us to stay in places longer than the minimum time.

Great social experience

I loved the social vibe of the experience. Places such as Tamaki village and River Valley were my favourite with people I'd been with for the last few days. I've seen so much of the country in a short space of time and done so many cool activities in this cool country!

A good time!

I had a great time with the kiwi bus and it made travelling around New Zealand so easy, especially with the accommodation booking. However, I think that if you're not an organised person, i think it's a bit harder as you do need to worry about pre booking buses and accommodation if you stay longer than minimum time, otherwise you can end up disappointed.

Fun experience

Had a lot of fun on the kiwi bus, met loads of great people. Great way to see New Zealand if you are travelling in limited time. I spent 6 weeks on the kiwi bus, hopping on and off in different places. This was a good amount of time. The minimum time the kiwi bus has to offer is not enough to see the highlights of New Zealand and you end up spending all your time on the bus. The bus took us to some fantastic locations and the activities offered were a lot of fun however I felt pressure into spending a lot of money on the activities which I did not like so much, especially since I am on a budget! Some bus drivers were loads of fun but some were quite rude and stressed a lot of the time and told offensive jokes. All in all, being on the bus was good fun and handy because I had limited time in New Zealand. The bus drivers booked your accommodation for one or two nights, depending on where you were, and there were always spaces for us reserved on the activities which was great! Expensive way of travelling New Zealand and if you like walking or hiking you need to plan these trips yourselves. There is no point taking the kiwi bus from Wellington to Auckland (may as well fly) because the stops are very limited.
