Being on the Kiwi Experience is definitely a blast! You're brought to the coolest places and everything is very well planned. If you do go in peak season though, beware that the bus can almost no longer be regarded as a Hop-on-hop-off. It is simply too busy and by making change in plans you risk getting stuck in one of the stops for up to a week (if you are travelling in a group). Furthermore, if you by accidents should not be on the list (which did happen for some of us with a confirmation on our booking), chances are that you will be left behind and need to book yourself in on another bus. Kiwi Experience does a lot to make this trip fantastic and I do not hesitate when I say, I had an awful good time - just know, that the amount of people coming in peak season in my opinion does push Kiwi Experience to a limit of what they can handle.

I am thrilled to travel through the both island with your company. I loved that we stopped at nice photo locations during the days, the hostels were great, clean and sometimes on beautiful spots! I met 2 drivers, Anna was really cute, Ben was so funny ( I liked his weird humor, and that he kept showing NZ videos during the travels)

I had a amazing time with the Kiwi bus, I met so many lovely persons and every day was a great expierience. I saw so beautiful places. The only thing what is a little bit sad, that we arrived every day so late at the next stop. Maybe you could start earlier in the morning and have less toilet stops, they are not needed so often.

Kiwi Experience has been great in allowing me to discover a lot of stops I otherwise wouldn't have done on a public bus and meet some really great people along the way.

10/10 would do this again! There's still so much to explore in NZ, but Kiwi Experience really got it all covered. You want to have an awesome time in New Zealand? Definitely travel with these guys then.

Enjoyed all of kiwi but must say some of the drivers literally made my day, everyday. Shoutout to Ben, Dan and Nancy who I had the pleasure of spending most of the trip with. Nancy even booked my skydive at Franz for 7am just so I made it up there for a break in the weather, Enjoyed your daily gossip update on the bus. Will miss you all

I had a month in New Zealand in January and it was perfect to travel with Kiwi Experience. They stopped so many beautiful places and gave a lot of useful information during the trip!

Bad planning. Bus leaves mostly around 9/10 am, which means you arrive at the next destination late in the afternoon. There is not much time to see and explore the surrounding area. Instead of leaving 7 am (everybody which is hangover can sleep in the bus anyways) and arriving at noon at the new destination. Also too many and unnecessary stops on the way.

We bought our ticket from home and we are happy we did it. But it's not what you hear from home. If you are lucky with your driver it's nice, if not, you just can't wait to be at the new place..

I did this in January and I really enjoyed my trip. The busdrivers were well organized and helped me with everything. But the buses and the hostels we stayed were most of the time really full, what I didn't like. Sometimes it was just busy.
