Honestly, I'm so thankful for this bus tour! I wanted to see the North Island in New Zealand in a short period of time and I can think of no other way to have done so effectively without the experience Kiwi provided. I purposely went in blind and was surprised everyday with fun and fascinating activities.

The ride was excellent. The kids enjoyed watching movies on the TV provided. The Water Heater & van heater is not working well but overall is OK

I had a great trip and didn't have to do much planning. Even better, I didn't have to drive. Food options on the West Coast were not great but got better in the bigger towns/cities. Accommodation options were clean enough. I could book single rooms for a reasonable price in most hostels (except at Lake Mahinapua Hotel).

Really good trip booked last minute, but I was slightly disappointed by the infrequency of buses in the winter. The website states at least 3-4 buses leaving each stop a week in winter and this was not the case, which impacted my ability to hop on and off and might have changed my decision to book with kiwi had I been aware of the fact that only 2 buses left a week. The app also has out of date information on bus departures. Please update this!! Other than that the trip was great, the drivers were helpful and the hostels were mostly nice. Booking activities through kiwi experience was mostly the cheapest and easiest way however there were a few instances (such as the ski/snowboarding packages in Queenstown) where the price quoted by kiwi was higher than the price offered direct from the same company.

I had heard good things before I went but nothing prepared me for how amazing the trip would be. Jumping on a bus everyday and moving from place to day sounds like you don't get much done but you do. The people I met will be friends for life.

You can go to places you otherwise can't see.

We had so much fun and saw so much, great way to travel.

After spending 4 days in Auckland and getting bored, I then used kiwi experience to travel around north island for 2 weeks. Not only did it give me the chance to travel to different locations, I also met numerous great friends. The only improvement I would make is to spend even longer travelling with Kiwi Experience! I plan to go back and travel again with them.

I wasn’t sure if I like it before I started but I loved it! You meet a lot of new people from all around the world! But because I heard how it can be with a driver that is not so nice i’m even more thankful for Rob because he helped with everything he could and brought us to the best places!

As a solo traveler I think Kiwi Experience was great because it was so easy to meet people and do activities I wouldn't have wanted to do solo. There is something for whatever mood you're in; whether you want something high-octane or chill, small or large group activities.
