I bought my pass (whole kit and caboodle) and was very apprehensive, i read many reviews so i didn't know what to expect. I boarded the big Green bus 30th December and had Fly as a driver (she was awesome) and did the bay and Cape.. I then started my main trip 2nd of January and had Jared as my driver... he was one of the best drivers I could have imagined! He was fantastic, funny, witty but also had a good knowledge of NZ! He made every stop fun and got everyone involved. Through doing the Kiwi experience I have met the most amazing people and have made friends for life. Travelling and stopping at places on the way to our destination was good as it broke up the journey. Each stop we had some food, walks, photo opportunities. One thing I would change is to make Wellington a longer stop. If you're travelling on minimum time which a lot of people were you didn't get the chance to see much... however I can't complain as I stopped there on my way back up north for longer. I would 10000000000% percent recommend the Kiwi bus to anyone who wants to travel, see the sights of beautiful New Zealand but also those who want to have FUN! meet people from different walks of life and have an adventure!! Well organised, get to see a lot in a short space of time.

I thought the kiwi experience was amazing, you get to see some beautiful places and meet great people along the way, it is an experience I will not forget.

In order to see a lot of New Zealand in a short time my friend and I decided to take the kiwi bus and did not regret it at all! Not only the scenery is breathtaking (aybe the prices sometimes aswell), but also the people you meet and the grand variety of activities you ca n choose of.

We did a 1 month tour with Kiwi and it was one of the best experiences we made .

I was traveling alone and Kiwi allowed me to meet so many different people from around the world. Staff was friendly and places we stayed were great! I would recommend staying extra nights places to avoid spending your entire trip on the bus!

I spent a month with the Kiwi Experience during December and January and it was amazing! I met people from all over the world, very lively people, all willing to make friends. The guides are quite attentive and careful, doing the work with much love. The Kiwi provides all possible facilities regarding accommodation and extra activities. It is excellent for those who want to cross New Zealand from one end to the other without major concerns. Super recommend it!

Had a fantastic experince at the kiwi-bus! With an enthusiastic atmosphere in the bus, and a jaw dropping sceneri at the other side of the window, we were thrilled on traveling in New Zealand!

Hey Thank you for a great experience, I thoroughly enjoyed my time especially with Anna - who is passionate, knowledgeable and helpful - a great support when you are already feeling homesick, a little lost and aware you are in another country! I have listed out the pro's and con's, which I hope will help with your continuous improvements: Pro's: The bus driver was highly supportive, knowledgeable and organised. The passion for your country was consistent with the people we interacted with at all stops - this helps strengthens your brand and reputation The spots chosen to stop on route were varied enough to keep us all interested. The list of activities were often on everyone's bucket list Clear expectations of travel duration, what we were doing for the day The people on the bus were diverse, there was a good balance of nationalities and female/male ratio Con's: The paperwork is endless and inefficient - this could be completed via a tablet i.e. the time saved in the morning if you ticked off a list when you're on the bus or when booking accommodation/activities - every spot we stopped at had some sort of basic WiFi - this would be much more efficient and safer if a tablet was passed around (a basic app can be created to collate these fields/drop downs), the ultimate would be having it link to the app for individual account, though I appreciate this would require significant development. The activities were quite expensive and promotions of booking multiple activities and saving were not available. A good way to perhaps present these activities to backpackers could be to do 'budget option', 'little treat' and 'splash out' option, so it caters for all budgets Overall I had a fantastic experience, made friends and saw a vast amount of the country in a short time - thanks for helping me fall in love with NZ!
