Although it ended up being more expensive that I thought. The places were beautiful and the people I knew were so nice and amazing. Defenitely this was an experience that i will never goin to forget.

I would recommend kiwi experience to others but I think more information should be provided about the standby by issue and where to spend extra days. I had some great drivers but some were a bit unhelpful. It’s a great way to meet people if you’re a solo traveller but just make sure you organise your itinerary early if you have a limited amount of time. I’d recommend flying to Auckland and finishing in Christchurch rather than returning to Auckland.

Going through the South Island with kiwiexperience was the best thing I ever done. It wasn’t just going to the places that you booked your bus, it was many small stops along the way. I absolutely loved it! I saw so much, got to know so many people and had the best time of my life! I would recommend everyone I know to do this. You won’t regret it.

It was awesome. But just remember to plan you trip ahead of going so you don’t get stuck on standby :)

Beforehand I hoped I would just see some beautiful places and have an good time. But of course I saw beautiful place, everything in New Zealand is beautiful, but I met some amazing people whom I now call friends and am still in contact with! My kiwi experience was absolutely amazing, great drivers, beautiful place and amazing people! Thank you Kiwi experience!

I bought this with a friend to travel New Zealand and it was so incredible! I had an amazing time doing a huge range of cultural and adventurous activities and making many new friends. It was the best way to see New Zealand

Well organised but too many stop offs in each journey and the minimum time itenray is too rushed

Saw everything I wanted to see, went around the entire country and made some good friends. All in all a positive experience!

I bought the this bus pass before even really knew what it was but after a bit of research I happy to say it lived up to everything and more that I had read. Kiwi Experience is a great way to get around if like me you don't have a driving license or just don't feel like driving. It's a fab way to meet people and learn about the country at the same time. I found the drivers be such a great laugh and really helpful when you need it. A bonus for the kiwi experience is that they can promise you accommodation if you feel like being a tad lazier during your time away rather than prebooking. Equally they will drop you too your pre-booked accommodation if given notice which is super handy, or at least get you as close as they can. The kiwi experience stops all the must see places as well as a couple of other not so well known places which is a nice change. There are plenty of stops long the journey for toilets, food and photos so you're never at a loose end. An added bonus is that they have a wide range of activities on offer and at promotional prices (jumps with joy). I have made some great friends and memories on this bus journey and would without a doubt recommend it :)

Kiwi experience is a great way to explore New Zealand for a first time and amazing for meeting people who may become friends for the rest of your life. Special shout out to bus drivers Elliot - for seeing us through the cyclone and being a great and genuine all round bloke and Cowboy (Jason) for just being a legend and going above and beyond what is required as a bus driver. Vote goes to cowboy for best driver! Improvements for the service are to add more sites going up, I.e kaikuora and potentially an alternative route up the north island (maybe along the east coast, to see the sunrise etc?) so that the return drive is better. As I wish I had flown out of Christchurch rather than come back onboard the bus.
