We had so much fun on kiwi experience, everything was organised so well and both the bus drivers we had were fun and incredibly helpful!

I first didn't wanna travel with kiwi but now I'm glad I did

I had just arrived in NZ. Had no idea what to see or how to get there, so went in to Mad travel where they told me about Kiwi experience. Bought a ticket leaving the next morning and that was probably the best decision I’ve ever made. I only had 16 days in NZ, so I decided to only do the North island. Which was an awesome trip! But when my bus left for the South Island, with the people who had become my close friends the previous week, I couldn’t help to run to the ferry after them, while booking another pass for the South Island. Needless to say the time on the bus, with the people I met and the places we went, is the best experience of my life. What I thought was going to be a nice way of traveling to beautiful places, turned out to be a great way to meet pretty cool* people, that I’ll stay in touch with! We had so much fun, on and off the bus! And we had a pretty cool* driver! Would recommend kiwi to everyone who want to see and experience NZ the best possible way, while meeting new friends! *great/amazing

Unluckily traveled with the bad driver who is not helpful and not polite.

I booked this based on what other people said- "it is amazing and the best time of your life" It lived up to that and more- not only NZ but the whole experience was life impacting and I will remember it forever. An amazing way to travel around NZ and meet new people, 110% would do it all again and probably will very soon in my life. Rik the bus driver got involved in everything and provide for us with the best laughs and advice the whole journey!!

The Kiwi bus is going to bring you to all the spots, so be prepared for hoping off the bus very often! We genuinely enjoyed the bus rides but sometimes it got up to a very long day in the bus due to all the stops.

I bought the South and Sound bus trip on a whim and couldn't be happier. The drivers were crackers and well informative, it was easy to meet people as a solo traveller and for someone who is far from organised it was nice to have someone there to do the booking and accommodation for you. Such a good time, would recommend and now I'm excited to the North Island! Cheers Kiwi.

Experience was amazing way to explore. It’s great because the best places in New Zealand already been picked out. The organisation from the kiwi experience takes the stress away you having to organise it yourself. This means that you can relax a bit more knowing where you’re going next. I met amazing people and it is a great way to meet friends whether you are travelling alone or with others. The drivers were so helpful and kind and always happy to help you with your plans. The one disappointing part of experience was that the buses got full very often and I think that Kiwi experience need to find a way to ensure that people can have more flexibility with their plans. If you are looking for true flexibility (ie. change your plans daily) I would not recommend the kiwi experience. I think that it is also wrong that kiwi experience advertise so much flexibility with their passes when I and most people I met would agree that you had to plan most of your trip to the exact date to ensure you got a space on the bus. This was disappointing considering how much you pay for the pass.
