Kiwi bus takes you to almost every corner of NZ knowing you are in safe hands with their very professional drivers, particularly D and D. It is too bad that Kiwi bus is stingy with the availability of the wi-fi and does not go to Abel Tasman National Park as the brochure implies. Once in Keiteri, you have to make your way there on your own. Also, there is no point in spending the night in Lake Mahinapua; it is best to go straight to Franz Joseph to spend the night there and be ready to hike the glacier the next day. Ditto for Westport lest you are winter surfing, at which point is best to drop surfers there and continue to FJoseph. Unfortunately lodging is not their forte other than YMCA, HI, Keiteri Lodge. It would be nicer if they could book single rooms. After my first two dorm experiences, I ended up booking my own. My room in Lake Mahinapua was zero degrees inside. I feel I slept outdoors. Very cold to go to the shower. The winter white rafting destination is also not recommendable, as far as lodging is concerned. The plus is the driver guides and the places you see, but not the bus wifi or its seats, the same applies to the lodging.

Kiwi was a great experience for me as a solo traveller, and as a first timer to New Zealand. The drivers are very knowledgeable and super fun. It is a great way to meet people and see the country

The service was incredible and the places we visited were amazing.

I didn't really know what to expect but it exceeded every thought and expectation I had by a mile stone. It was a truly wonderful experience which I will treasure for ever. Jared Lilly is a star - his information on places and his personality made every hour on the bus truly enjoyable.

Did the whole kit and caboodle and it was the most fun I've ever had! The people I met were so much fun and they made the whole trip the experience of a life time. I would 100% recommend doing the kiwi experience because it is an easy way to travel an incredible country, the drivers stop at little pockets of joy that you would never otherwise experience, the drivers also have the knowledge of the landscape and teach you so much along the way!

I booked my Southern Round Up trip and Milford Sound add on pass over email correspondence, the advice was excellent and efficient. All round an amazing, fun and comfortable experience. So much fun. I made incredible friends. I really loved the stop offs on route to our destinations, all excellent photos opportunities. The drivers were very knowledgeable about New Zealand, especially Lisa, who was really interesting and funny to listen to, and very very helpful. Great to have so many supermarket stops too. A couple of negatives would be that I think our driver Dave (Cuddles) should have down quick head counts after stop offs. Also I know that Nelson is only a temporary stop however please change it to 2 nights at Kaiteriteri instead. Nelson isnt that exciting and the Custom House hostel was utterly appalling. There was not enough time at Kaiteriteri and this was a much more beautiful place. Lastly get WiFi on all the buses please. Best way to see New Zealand, it was my first time ever travelling and i did this by myself, absolutely no regrets. Kiwi Experience made everything stress free and brilliant fun.

A fantastic 5 week trip with Kiwi Experience, very professional and everything was made easy! Very knowledgeable drivers who were up for a laugh and could answer every question thrown at them, I would highly recommend and the only downside was that I wished I had more time haha.
