The best way to experience NZ! Also a 'sweet as' trip as there are multiple insta worthy photo points ! An incredible month with the kiwi bus that I won't forget in a hurry!

A fantastic experience! The northern express pass was very convenient because I was spending a lot of time in Wellingtonduring my stay in New Zealand. Amazing train journey from Auckland, with all of the comforts needed and some spectacular views. I travelled on 3 different buses from Wellington to auckland in 4 days, which meant that I met a wide range of young travellers from all over the world.

Tour guides were very knowledgeable, helpful, and fun! Took us to some great places, and offered some great tours!

Best 5 weeks. Would definitely recommend to anyone to experience the best of what New Zealand has to offer !

I had a great time meeting new people and having the chance to do so much I didn't think I would've done! The drivers were all great and friendly.

I did the Southern Round Up and it was a great experience. I loved the people I met, the bus drivers, and the places we went. I especially loved that the bus drivers stopped while en route to our next location so that we could see some amazing sights along the way. My only issue with Kiwi is the hostels. They're not super expensive but there are cheaper (and maybe better) options but it's hard to book them in advance a lot of times. This is due to the fact that the kiwi bus wifi blocks hostel websites and most of the hostels we stayed in lacked wifi at all. It just felt like I was forced to stay where Kiwi wanted me to stay and it got frustrating.

Unfortunately our bus driver stretch some what ruined our experience. He ran late a lot of the time, was very rude to many passangers and seemed to really dislike our group. However we had a great group on the bus and enjoyed our time due to the other travellers

I'm glad I joined kiwi experience as I was travelling on my own so it felt like the best way to do it. However it is quite expensive and I joined on in the south island and most people had been travelling with each other for 2 weeks at this point so I felt it was hard to integrate myself into the group. I would recommend starting from Auckland if you were to do it.
