Very regimed way of travel but worth it for the people you get to meet!

I booked the ticket in December because I wanted to see as much as I can during my 3 weeks stay in New Zealand. It was such a great experience because I met some nice people, spoke a lot of English and saw so many things! The bus driver, toddy, explained a lot and now I know where I wanted to travel once again!

Drivers knew so much! And ensured we saw everything

Myself and my boyfriend booked to do the southern round up trip, at first i was a little confused on how the whole process of booking to get on the bus worked but after emailing kiwi experience who were really helpful it was straight forward from there. Our drivers were all brilliant especially Martin. The trip was well organised, it was easy to get on and off and it was great knowing that your accommodation was going to be booked in advance. I would recommend if staying more than a night look into pre-booking more nights either at that hostel or even a different one as there as some hostels which are nicer. I would strongly recommended that if staying in Nelson on the south island trips avoid it like the plague it is by far the most disgusting hostel i have even been to however, it is temporary on the south island trips. Apart from that the rest of our trip was amazing from the bus rides through stunning scenery to the activities that are booked through the company. I would recommend this to anyone who is up for making friends and having an adventure.

Van was fine but too many winding roads so will take a car next time

Had a sick time and met so many amazing people. Was terrified of travelling solo but the Kiwi Experience makes it so easy and enjoyable.

Had a great time on the bus tour driver was very friendly and informative and we went to many good places and had a good look on New Zealand in a limited time.

It was a pretty last minute decision for me to go to NZ with Kiwi experience but I am SO glad I chose them, amazing drivers, amazing people, amazing views! Would definitely recommend!

This was without a doubt one of the best months of my life, and I have had some incredible months. The drivers I had were absolute legends, they took us to some awesome locations and hung out with us loads partying through the night. The bus itself was also sweet. For a 6'3 person I had plenty of leg room, and the bangers the drivers were playing just sets the atmosphere for the trip. You also make friends for life on these buses as you go around with a crew for like a month constantly meeting people in different places. Best way to do new zealand and best choice I made during my 5 months of travelling south east asia and the south pacific.
