I would definitely recommend to friends as it's a great way to meet new people travelling and the way the activities and accommodation are organised for you makes your trip much less stressful.

Went on the kiwi experience about 2 months ago and had such an amazing time! Got to see so much of this outstanding country. Also meet so many great people. So glad I did it. Would of missed out on such an amazing experience!

The best way to see both islands of New Zealand. I loved how informative the bus drivers were and although many activities were very pricey, it was great to have so many options for every stop along the way. My only concern was one of my bus drivers was less focused on providing an incredible experience for everyone on the bus and was quite cliquey.

Have a great trip with Kiwi Experience! The driver, Nancy, takes care all the things, so I have nothing to worry during this trip. But I wish the bus schedule can be more frequent. At the very beginning, I planned to stay at Queenstown for 2 days, but there was no bus on the second day, so I have to spend one more day so Queenstown.

I went on a south island trip with the kiwi experience and I loved it. It was a great experience with Dave AKA Cuddles driving us for most of the time. The schedule was killing sometimes but the concept works really well in a country like new zealand. The contracts with the hostels were good in general. The only hostel that I really didn't like was The Customs House in Nelson. It was really filthy, kitchen was way too small and the beds very uncomfortable. I didn't like it too much. However the rest was really good and the discounts on certain activities were very nice as well!

If you're thinking of travelling New Zealand you have to do the kiwi bus, it's the easiest and most amazing way of doing it! I was able to do so many activities and make friends I'll know forever. It's so easy to meet people!

The Kiwi Experience is a great way to see New Zealand on a short time frame. The drivers are really friendly and have great knowledge about the country.

The Kiwi Experience is a great way to see such a beautiful country. Met so many people along my route and had a lot of fun. I had a few bus drivers and all were so friendly, always available to answer questions and provided loads of information about the country. I felt safe throughout the whole trip and that meant I could just chill and enjoy myself without having to do too much of my own organisation as it was all done for me really! It was slightly unfortunate when most of my bus friends were travelling minimum time, because that meant I left a lot of friends along the way when I decided to stay in places for longer. I did make other friends of course, but it would have been ideal if everyone stayed together the whole time. If you're the kind of person that wants to stay at some places for more than minimum time, then I'd recommend getting someone to come along with you who wants to travel for the same time frame.

I bought my kiwi bus pass on a bit of a whim as I was leaving Australia, but was so glad I did! Beforehand I was a bit skeptical about NZ, was only leaving Aus to apply for a working visa there but having been on the Kiwi Experience and had such a good time, I instead came home to apply for my New Zealand working visa, absolutely love the place!
