I want to say a big thank you to Ivan who drove us around. He went far and beyond what was expected and made everyone on the bus feel welcome and have a good giggle! Highlight was when he stopped and invited us to his parents house to have tea and coffee on a stop. Generally, such a kind gesture and getting a good history from his Dad! Everyone needs a person like Ivan on the Kiwi experience as he makes it better every day! Big thanks!

Not a hop on hop off pass as labelled really due to the forward booking nature and penalties for missed buses. Understand you need measures to mediate the service but sometimes seemed overly regulated!

I can really recommend Kiwi for everyone who wants to have an awesome time in NZ! Cool drivers, beautiful 'off the road' stops and a fun time with great people. I gotta say I had the impression the trip is especially good when you're on minimum time and travel with pretty much the same people all the time but even if you're there for a couple of months or even a year it's a great way to get around. Definitely worth the money! Do it guys!!!

I was unsure about doing a semi-tour guided bus through New Zealand, especially on limited time, but I had the best time!

The concept of Kiwi experience is good if you have very little time to spend in New Zealand and wish to see the good spots. They bring you to all the tourist spots you need to visit. However if you don't speak very good English, the staff is not able to handle this type of customers and it may be hard to follow the drivers' speech all the time. Unfortunately, most of the customers are from countries where English level is pretty high which will not help you either. The bus are usually on time and rarely late on their schedule. The drivers are very talkative and explains a lot about the scenery and cities you'll see and visit. My favorite driver was Simon who was awesome, but I only got him for few days. The good thing about kiwi is you do not have to worry about the accomodation. (although some could be better). The activities proposed by kiwi are quite expensive and cheaper alternatives are not always proposed. But they do try to propose something each time. And if you have money and like things like skydiving, you will be pleased. I wouldn't recommend this tour to a 25 older person if you travel alone. The experience was ok, but a lot of time, I felt annoyed and out of place.

Nice trip around the south, not as much party as expected, plenty of older people and couples.. but still a good and fun time..

The people you meet along the way is great. the drivers I had were 'sweet as'. Range of activities for both islands are varied. The choices of accommodations could of been better though, 2nd time around I booked alot of my own accommodation as it was cheaper. But all in all it was a sweet as kiwi experience.

Overall really impressed with my experience on the Kiwi Experience. Great in terms of value for money, meeting people and a great vibe in terms of the bus itself and the various drivers I travelled with. A big thanks to all the drivers I had who really made the trip and the helpful office staff. In particular a big shout out to Gina B who organized to take our entire bus to a rugby match in Christchurch.

Just got back and loved it - made great friends and great memories
