Got it on sale so definitely worth it! Love the flexibility of travel, as well as how easy it is to book accommodation & activities through kiwi. Every bus driver I had was so friendly and I met so many awesome people. The app could use updating (maybe so people can book their next sector through it instead of only by phone call), but otherwise a really great experience.

I am very happy that I chose to travel with kiwi experience. The set-up of the entire trip was great and simple!

Bought my kiwi experience pass for a month around New Zealand. Saw everything they had to offer. Kiwi experience was a nice simple way to do a trip on minimal planning, and do all the major activities in a short amount of time. However a lot of places require more than the minimum stay to get more out of the package and buyers should be aware of that limitation. As well accommodation can be purchased much cheaper if booked ahead of time independently.

If you have been traveling before by yourself, you are used to use your own brain, don't want to stop every hour for 2-hour activities and if you are older than 20 and don't wanna have drunken kids in your room avoid that bus! The hostels are party hostels (but you can book others and they drop you off there, which is nice) and the activities are overpriced (but if the kids don't do any research, fair enough). Most drivers are a little strange, but Gina was great.

Spent a month travelling round New Xealand with kiwi and it was a great way to see a lot of the country and meet some amazing people! For the most part the drivers were fabulous, really informative and passionate about NZ, would definitely recommend!

The trip I've just finished (funky chicken pass) was unbelievable. I don't know why but our bus just attracted the best type of person and as a result I've made about 23 new best mates. We went to the best spots, could rely on travel when hungover and were encouraged to do things we didn't think we would. In 10 years time most of my gang of merry men and women will be returning to the bus for a big and bad reunion.

We had Luke for the South Island. 10/10 because of him.

I am indebted to the kiwi experience for giving me incredible memories, as well as facilitating my meeting of other fun people. The only Downside is that it felt a bit like a school trip in the way the drivers spoke down to you sometimes. Not cool when you're a paying guest.

Incredible for people in their 20s like myself! Met such incredible friends on my bus which really made my experience! I know a lot of other NZ tours are an older crowd with strict schedules so I know I got beyond lucky with Kiwi!

I heard good things about this trip. My main bus driver Ivan was incredible at getting everyone to socialise and have a good time. It was great he was always there to join in too.
