I genuinely had the time of my life in New Zealand with Kiwi Experience - the trip of a lifetime! A fantastic and easy system doing great things for people passionate about getting the most out of their visit to this incredible country.

The bus was a great way to travel around in New Zealand. I loved that the tourbus stopped on the way and showed us nice places on the way and also the driver told us alot of background history about the environment we were drivingtrhough etc. The only thing that could be improved is the fact that the busses are not very flexible during high season. It would help a lot if there would be an extra bus on some parts of the trip.

To much for what it is, also to many stops!!! Don’t leave so early in the morning ur driving travellers...

I was recommended the kiwi experience from a friend that did it last year. I did it January to February (would recommend this time) and could not recommend it enough. Not only have I made friends for life but I have made memories that will will always remember! I travelled alone and so this was such a great way to meet people. The kiwi experience is so well organised and thought out to every little detail. The drivers are the stars of the experience and will help with any questions and giving advice. The staff on the phones and over email are so helpful! For example I lost my jumper and they helped me get it back! If you asked me to think of any negatives or complaints I would really struggle and can honestly say this has been the most amazing experience of my life and has given me a love of New Zealand I dont think I would have got otherwise. A tip I would say is to get the kiwi experience app it will be your bible, and to do the bay of islands and milford sound trips! They are both so beautiful in their own ways! And for activities I would go swimming with dolphins in Kaikoura and 100% do the Maori village in Rotura!!! So in conclusion 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend... have I been complimentry enough?

I did two separate trips with Kiwi, one better than the other and one ending with me being abandoned at the side of the road (no fault of the drivers) It makes a difference where you start your trip and friendship groups have already been formed if you join too late, and or people are on wind down. They over book their buses so waitlisting is common and why I was abandoned with no alternative offered to me. Great activities all over the islands and a beautiful country to visit. Mixed feelings about the tours, very friendly group on my second trip not so much on the first. Luck of the draw perhaps? Research carefully before buying!

Picked up the van at Christchurch with no fuss and great service. They give you a brilliant sat nav which is accurate and has 1gB of WiFi included. We (wife and I) travelled throughout South Island over quiet and beautiful roads. I loved driving the van - reliable and fast.

The kiwi experience bus was a great way to see all the highlights of New Zealand, and a great way to meet people. Giggles (Cory) is an amazing driver! I had a few other drivers along the way and at one point I purposely changed my plans to get back on Giggles’ bus. He’s an excellent driver-friendly, organized, funny, responsible!

I am so glad I went with kiwi experience when planning my trip around New Zealand! It was simple, fun, took me to all the hot spots that I wanted to check out, and allowed me to truly experience all New Zealand had to offer. Plus, I met lifelong friends on those buses!

I'm sooo happy, that I chose Kiwi Experience to travel the South Island with and I would defenitly do it again!

The kiwi staff make every effort to give their guests what they want. Super flexible.
