I did the Kiwi Experience with a friend for 3 weeks in January 2017. It wasn't long enough! The bus took us to the best places and I couldn't have had a better time. I could have done it alone too - you make so many friends! Thank you NZ!

Quite a last minute decision to go to NZ, Kiwi Ex was the perfect way to see the whole country in a short amount of time (33 days). The country is amazing, the only thing that made the trip even better was the people that we met along the way and the friends we have made on the Big Green Bus! Told all my friends all about it, well not quite everything!

Fantastic experience on the bus making so many new friends. I loved the hop on-hop off experience and I definitely made the most of that. The routes are great and the sights I saw were so beautiful. The bus drivers were funny (typical Kiwi dry humour) and kept me entertained through some of the longer drives (especially Pinky and his very very dry sense of humour). My only real niggle was the accommodation at River Valley. It was tired and really needed doing up. None of the cooking pots had handles, the utensils were all melted and plates not clean. It was a fairly expensive stop and with no other options for Kiwi Ex travelers, I just didn't feel that it was up to the standards of the other stops.

I bought this pass Mighty Moa a couple days before going on the bus. Unsure wether what it was really about, i currently added on the deep south, satisfied with my journey so far.

I did a month in NZ and I'm so happy I went with kiwi experience because it makes it so easy to do the things I wanted to do and I got to see so much of nz and met so many great people along the way who we then kept bumping into at different places.

Great way to see New Zealand, relaxed, easy and so much fun. The bus drivers are great and the packages you buy are none stop you get to see so much and can stay longer wherever you like.

Everything was taken care off, absolutely no stress while on board. The Simplicity of just handing round a clipboard was really efficient, i loved all the stops and all the activities. Will definitely return!

For me this trip was perfect since I did not have time to plan the trip on my own beforehand. I saw places I probably wouldn't have if I went alone since the trip took you to some small hikes along the way! And learned a lot since the drivers had a lot of knowledge of New Zealand

I bought the Kiwi Experience pass back in January as advised by STA Travel. I am a solo traveller with 6 weeks in New Zealand. I was not knowing what to expect and was a little worried. All that soon changed.... This trip has been absolutely incredible. This was hugely helped by our driver Helly. The most happy, funny, kind & caring individual who you should be proud to have as part of the team. Sharing her in depth knowledge about New Zealand, its nature, scenery and random facts. She was happy to help with any problems or issues we faced and went that extra mile for anyone. The organisation of hostels and activities could not be faulted. She ensured all her passengers were satisfied and happy throughout the trip. I have the most incredible memories from New Zealand. I have made friends and memories for life. This trip would not of been the same so THANK YOU!!
