I spent two weeks travelling the south island with my girlfriend and it was a great way to meet people and get to know new zealand

Over all the experience was very fun and stimulating. Aries (sorry if misspelled) the buss driver was amazing and it was so fun to ride with him! The spots were we stopped where good and the activities were fun, especially the over night stay in the Maori camp! There was two thing I didn't like. Firstly there was to few busses. I understand that it's high season but you can't market it as a hop on hop of bus of you can't hop on and hop off at all. It would have been better to stop selling passes so you didn't work over capacity. The second thing I didn't like was Martin the bus driver. Everytime I talked to him or asked him something he was rude and in the end I didn't bother to ask when I needed help. I don't know if it's just the way he is but I don't think that kind of behaviour is ok if you're a guide. Overall the kiwi experience was good though and I thank you for everything.

Drivers were really cool and knew a lot, need more buses during summer. Not really a hop on off if you are on standby every time you want to stay somewhere. Our first driver Aries was absolutely amazing so funny and knew everything he was superinformative of everything.

Kiwi Experience is an amazing and informative way to travel around New Zealand and meet amazing like minded people.

I booked a pass a week before doing the trip. I was recommended to travel with KiWi Ex by a friend who did this experience 10 years ago.

Due to the fact that I had only 2 months in New Zealand but wanted to see as much as possible, I decided to go with Kiwi Experience and can only recommend it. It's easy,you see the most amazing spots and do the best activities, by the way you meet awesome people and can just relax and not worry about anything because your driver sorts all out for you.

Our bus driver was amazing and kept us all entertained! Some of the hostels we stayed at were awful while others just had terrible service and long check-in times.

I started the experience in Novemeber and did it for 3 weeks. While it was fun at a lot, the drivers were often really stressed and overwhelmed. Sometimes our buses were overbooked and people would be left in places (sometimes on minimum time) who had been confirmed to get on a bus. Also I felt like we weren't really getting "deals" on the activities and they were being pushed at us. BASE is the worst hostel I've decided and am so glad I chose to book other accommodation through the trip anytime we stayed at a base. I did like that we got to get off on stops while we were driving, and that there was usually a lot to do in places. People were really nice! Oh I think a lot of people had a problem with staying at all the places where we couldn't bring our own alcohol and then the alcohol at the places being extremely watered down. Saw a friend have 4 drinks (double shot each) in an hour and was totally fine. I had 5 beers and am tiny and nothing happened. Kind of annoying

Brought a kiwi pass as a way of meeting people when travelling alone. Hands down the easiest and most fun way to travel NZ. buses are a great way of taking th stress out of organising your travel. It allows you to enjoy the sights and adventure out into NZ. Bus drivers are always there to help you with any questions you have.

The best thing I've done on my travels so far!! Met some great people and done some amazing things!
