We love getting feedback from our passengers after they complete their Kiwi Experience. Feedback helps us tweak Kiwi Experience for other passengers or simply lets us know when we've done a great job.
Some of our passengers stay in touch for years to come. We love that!

Would definitely recommend travelling with kiwi experience!! They made sure we saw all the highlights and I met some lifelong friends along the way. As far as I'm concerned it's the ONLY way see New Zealand

Good way to meet people and enjoy the views !
Kiwi experience is something solo travelers would enjoy as its a great chance to meet people from around the globe. The bus takes you to the most scenic views along the way and gives you ample time to enjoy each moment :) The drivers serve as tour guides , giving you abundant amount of help and information . Although at times it felt a lot like just a party bus , it really depends on the people and most of all how you make your experience . If you have an open mind, and likes to have a different kind of traveling experience , I would recommend Kiwi experience as the uncle of the bus tour companies in NZ, fun, friendly and occasionally abit boozy :p

Magnificent family holiday
The experience was new to us and it was a success. Britz and his staff was very attentive although the campervan was a bit old , promised a less than 5 years old and delivered one with 4.5 years old without much power, but it turned out reliable until the last dia.Nueva Zealand is a well country prepared for perform this type of tourism.

Vehicles in poor state
My first vehicle (Britz Explorer) was poorly cleaned, crumbs in draws, fridge old and rusty inside such that my wife said it was 'disgusting'. Then that vehicle broke down one hour into trip and it took four hours to get a replacement out to us. That vehicle (maui Platinum beach) was cleaner however grey waste pipe extension was missing and what was there was leaking, front headlight didn't work etc. Need to work on cleanliness and service of your vehicle big time. I suspect you are trying to turn around the vehicles too quickly and not allowing proper cleaning and maintenance. Also the introductory run through of the vehicle on pickup was pretty poor. Good job I am a kiwi as if that is the level of introduction to a tourist then you aren't doing much for NZs image.

The campervan was great to travel in. Great to have a reversing camera.

Very basic van.
The first Campervan toilet flush failed within the first day and we had to waste half a day waiting for a replacement vehicle to be brought. The shower handle had been very badly repaired, with mastic, which was a very bodged job. It fell through its housing, making it unusable. The second vehicle's reversing camera did not function, even after I had changed the language from Swedish into English with help from the helpline. Even though all doors were locked, the one in the kitchen area would fly open, meaning that we had to store the bucket etc. elsewhere when on the move. The cutlery drawer had to be wedged to stop it flying out, scattering its contents everywhere. Previous renters had put tape across the doors to stop them from opening and on the wardrobe door sellotape had been used, which had pulled off some of the veneer. We rented a wi-Fi system. The first one wouldn't work, and no real instructions were supplied, so it was replaced when the replacement van was delivered. This came with instructions, but still didn't work. It was discovered, when we returned it at the end of the holiday period that it had been supplied with the wrong lead. Does no one check these things? The money was refunded after we insisted that the device was checked out.

Solid and good value for money Campervan!
We booked a self contained Mighty Deus. In NZ this very important. The car was definitely big enough for two adults. Changing to bed position needs about 5 mins and is very easy.

Van was 7 yrs old with 290 000 + kms on its speedo. It was tired and past its sell by date. The brakes were spongey, the cab leaked rain water through the front screen seal and it rattled !1
