Such a great way to explore the country in a short space of time. You don’t just get driven from A to B you stop off at national parks and view points along the way

I got up to so much cool stuff. Seen so many beautiful places and met a bunch of fun people.

I'm 63 and for me it was a way of getting around as I don't drive and I wasn't ready yet to do a Seniors Tour!! For the most part, I thought it was fantastic!!

My boyfriend and I booked this trip back late 2018. It was the very first thing we booked as part of a 14 month backpacking trip. We had a few drivers on the Kiwi buses, but out of them all Toddy was the best. We had such a good laugh with Toddy! He was never horrible to anyone, even when some of the people on our bus were just there to get drunk every night and not listen to where we were going next, he would just carry on explaining. I did say to some people to be quiet as i couldn't hear myself. ------------------------------------------------------------- **Message for Toddy ** Sorry we didn't say bye! So much bad smell since we started In certain and sofa it's not clear

Really enjoyed the tour, unfortunately we couldn’t make it to Franz Josef as the bridge washed away but that nature! Just hated every time we went to the hostel knowing we would have to queue for 30mins to an hour!

Completed the ‘Fush n Chups’ tour with kiwi and it was sublime! Great stop offs in both the north and the South Island. Drivers are great tour guides with excellent knowledge of the country. They also organise activities and accommodation easily and efficiently for you, all you have to do is write your name on a clipboard and it’s sorted. Big shoutout to Rob (even if he is an Aussie) who was an encyclopaedia of knowledge. Great way to meet other people but can also do your own thing. Would highly recommend.

Had the absolute time of my life doing Kiwi. I made so many new friends, did things and saw things I never thought possible. My driver, Stretch, was an absolute gem and made each bus ride fun with his tunes. He was more like a mate than a member of staff by the end. I would say it would be nice to have unlimited WiFi on the bus - the limit doesn’t make much sense to me. Also there were places like Westport where I would reconsider stopping. We didn’t want to surf so there wasn’t really anything else to do and the hostel was ok but quite damp. Regardless, that didn’t detract from my time with Kiwi and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

My friend & I bought The Whole Kit and Caboodle bus pass in hopes of getting an in-depth experience of the entirety of New Zealand. We were surprised at how smoothly the process runs, the knowledge of the guides and the extra stops made along the way to destinations that meant we saw so much more of the country than we expected.
