Best bonding experience
I bought the whole kit and kaboodle many months before travelling and noone could describe how worth the money this experience would be. I have met some of the funniest people and shared experiences with them that I will tell my grandkids about in the future, from jumping in several freezing lakes (some with eels) to pub crawls in wellington and Queenstown. I can proudly say I have followed in the footsteps of Bilbo Baggins by going on an adventure!

The best thing I've ever done!
I would recommend this to anyone. There are so many factors why the kiwi experience is so incredible. 1. You meet SO many people and become friends for life. 2. The country is the most beautiful country in the world with so many different aspects to it. 3. The Kiwi experience always has loads of activities for you to do so you never have to worry about anything. My favourite activities were the Tomaki Maori experience overnight stay and definitely the white water rafting. 4. Wine is really cheap and even a cheap sav blanc is amazing. 5. So many free walking trails to do! For instance trekking the Franz Josef walking trail and the Queenstown hill - absolutely beautiful! 6. Nevis Bungy swing in Queenstown - scariest thing I've ever done but so fun! 7. From chilling in hot tubs, to fancy dress parties, to standing at the top of mountains/hills/near glaciers to white water rafting, to the most beautiful lakes in the world - I've had the time of my life! Thank you so much Kiwi Experience! Keep doing what you're doing xxxx

I organised my trip August 2017 I found the website easy to use and any questions I had were dealt with by email I was traveling on my own and being 61 years young it was no issue as everyone was friendly The atmosphere was very good and relaxing the drivers made it a good laugh and there knowledge of the routes and stops could put your mind at easy if you had any problems. Coaches were always clean I made a lot of friends and hope to come back again sometime. Cyril

Best Time Ever!!
I've heard so many amazing things about the Kiwi Experience and I've already ticked Australia off the Bucket list that it was about time I came to New Zealand!! Booking the Kiwi was the best thing ever, I've been to the most incredible places, seen the most beautiful things, done some crazy ads activities, made life long friends, and memories I will cherish forever!! Thank you Kiwi for your incredible bus drivers as well, they have been not only helpful and knowledgeable, but hilarious!! I will 100% be recommending this tour pass to my friends who are planning on coming to NZ. Kia Ora :)

Best Experience of My Life!!!
Kiwi Experience: wow what a dream come true. I've traveled the world and Kiwi Exp is still hands down the coolest, most eye-opening adventure I've lived. Every single day included unique outdoor adventures A typical day would include hopping on the bus (where you'd look out the window and see the most beautiful views of lush green rolling hills and flowing water falls) and travel to a new destination with plenty of stops along the way to hop off and enjoy the peace of outdoors with nature trails and hikes. The people are the best part- the friends I've made are people I will cherish for the rest of my life. Travelers ranged from all ages (majority 18 to early 20s and then a large group of late 20s/ 30s who want a break from the workforce but there were plenty of honeymooners and older couples who seek adrenaline rushes and beautiful opportunities). -What did we see: I did the Tiki tour for 18 days and didn't hop off. I saw everything from Hobbiton/ Lord of the Rings sites, hiked a 19km Tongariro Crossing aka Mount Doom, geothermal hot springs, skydiving over glaciers in Franz Josef, and bungy jumping in famous Queenstown. I found pieces of myself necessary to grow and cherish the beauty this earth always offers. I grew as a person and learned to truly love this life I've been given. The carefree energy and confidence encouraged me to jump out of my shell and try so many new things. -My favorite part: besides the people, everything. Everything from finding myself on top of Mt Doom to white water rafting in River Valley to our sunset sailboat cruise on Lake Taupo where the motor died and we found peace in sailing home to our dress up party in Mahenipua to being welcomed as family in a real authentic Maori village interactive dinner. -Why I choose Kiwi over other buses: Kiwi gets off the beaten track just as much as every travel bus, but Kiwi uniquely cares for every single individual traveler and caters to their needs with qualified drivers who will encourage specific activities and always guarantee accommodation for your first nights. I loved the fun, energetic confidence I knew I would find in the people choosing a bus like Kiwi. I was drawn to the free-spirited, bubbly fun that I read in other amazing reviews and social media posts. I looked on Instagram for Kiwi Experience hashtags and messaged people currently traveling through different buses for their advice and every single one 110% recommended Kiwi as the way to go and see New Zealand. -Would I recommend Kiwi Ex to friends: absolutely already done Overall, I loved Kiwi Experience and found it to be enlightening with friendships I'll always cherish. The people helped me grow in confidence and get out of my comfort zone. I loved seeing new things that only Kiwi drives to and meeting friends around the world who quickly became like family. I absolutely loved Kiwi and feel that a piece of my heart rests in the waters of NZ thanks to this fun, loving family and adventures.

I thought kiwi experience is just a bus with a few random people going around NZ doing some tourist stuff and that’s it. Well I was surprised about how it actuallye was. It is a family! I met the craziest, funniest and loveliest people from all over the world. I couldn’t be more thankful for the best time with the best people.

Wasn't sure if kiwi ex would be right for me as at 42 a bit older than the average traveller using these buses but happy to say I had a positive experience. Well organised, smooth system with good flexibility I was able to do what I wished to make my trip enjoyable.

THE BEST WAY TO EXPLORE NEW ZEALAND
When I travel, I try to get the most bang for my buck by arranging everything myself. But Kiwi Experience was way more cost efficient than any alternative. Not only does it provide you with transportation in between places, but the drivers are HILARIOUS and serve as tour guides in a way, and then for pit stops, you don't just go to some random and lame rest stop, but a beautiful place people usually add to their itinerary. Everything about my Kiwi Experience was worth it, and I never in a million years could have planned it better myself!!

The best 3 weeks ever!
Doing the Kiwi Experience made me fall in love with New Zealand! I did the Funky Chicken tour and all can say is that I wish I'd been there for longer! I visited some of the most beautiful places I've ever seen - Lake Pukaki being one of my favourites! I also did some amazing activities, from a bungee jump to visiting the Tamaki Māori Village. I had initially only planned to do the evening visit but, am thrilled that I picked to do the overnight stay because it was incredible and I loved learning about the Māori culture. Lake Mahinapua surprised me the most - not what you would expect from a place in the middle of nowhere! The fancy dress party we had there was so much fun, not to mention the lovely hot tubs and cocktails we had too! Our driver guide, Stretch, was an absolute LEGEND! He recommended many of these activities and every single one was absolutely worth it. He was awesome and made the journeys so enjoyable by playing epic tunes and making us all do karaoke! It was also really cool the way he greeted us every morning in Māori! I met so many wonderful people on the tour and can definitely say that I will be back soon NZ!
