I travelled through NZ for 6 weeks on the Kiwi Bus. It was a blast and I made so many new friends from all over the world! Great stops on our way and especially Jacob was the best busdriver ever!! The only thing I didnt like as much was the stop in Lake Mahinapua because there was nothing to do there apart from the lake and the accomodation was pretty expensive... hope to get back to NZ soon! Thanks!

We had a great week touring New Zealand's South Island. Only wish we had longer! Very comfortable way to travel. Facilities in holiday parks great in NZ. So clean.

Even in winter it is great to travel with Kiwi Experience. They still try to show all the beauty of New Zealand. The choice of the hostels is normally really good but if you don't like it, there is no problem in staying somewhere else. Then they even pick you up there if you want. Sometimes the travel experience really depends on the people on the bus. But if you couldn't get along with them, just rest a little bit somewhere and take the next bus. That is the cool thing about not beeing a group travel. And yes, the bus drivers are really funny. They love to joke around the whole day :)

Good value overall, decent enough vehicle and free upgrade. Vehicle not really ready on pick up, we had to wait whilst several issues we spotted were resolved. Diesel heating was faulty also and some cosmetic damage but mostly it worked well.

It was a fairy tale, wonderful weather, new friends! Everything is organized at a high level, drivers are wonderful! Location - excellent! guys, I've seen a lot, you keep good quality! Forward!

Would recommend this to anyone! I went in winter and it was fab so I imagine it's fab all year round!

I did the Whole Kit n Caboodle and it really was a very cost effective way to see a lot of this amazing country. I loved some of the places they took you to, however if someone isn't a big drinker I thought a couple of the stops were too heavily focused on this. I also found because I didn't do the minimum time and spent longer in quite a lot of places (which I would thoroughly recommend - I mean 1 night in Wellington guys, really??) Some of the organisation wasn't the best. However I met some amazing friends, have had a ton of awesome experiences and a big shout out has to go to the bus drivers who make it all happen. It can't be easy looking after 50ish (often) demanding adults, but somehow you manage to do it, make it a heap of fun and continue to keep smiles on your faces! Keep up the amazing work!

Had an amazing trip round the north and South Island with kiwi experience, really enjoyed all the walks, team bonding nights, lunch stops, activities on offer as well as daily bus antics. Only had Gina as our driver for the start of my trip, but the short time we had with her was great, an excellent driver with great stories. She really brought our group together from the beginning and made it easier for everyone to bond, even after she left us. Great experience! I would recommend any traveller that wants to explore New Zealand to book a ticket on a kiwi experience bus!

I bought this before coming to NZ and I'm a bit disappointed, over all. There's a strong urge to drink and go out every night - it seems like it's for a much younger crowd than what the website makes it out to be. Overall, though, it's a convenient way to get around the country and the drivers are lovely (thanks, Jed and Reese!). There needs to be more communication from KE about the itinerary available off the mobile app. When I download a PDF from the website, I expect it to be up to date and accurate.
