The KiwiExperience bus tour is great for when you're traveling the country on your own and you haven't seen anything of New Zealand yet. The stops on the tour (with exception to a view) are well chosen and I loved that you're getting dropped off at landmarks and cool spots like lakes and waterfalls on the way from one town to the other. This being said, be prepared to spend a lot of time on the bus. There are several toilet, food, and supermarket stops on the way that take up a lot of time, so you'll never arrive at your destination before 2pm. Busses leave pretty early too the next day which means you oftentimes hardly get any time to explore the place you're staying at if you're doing one night only. All in all I would recommend KiwiExperience since the fact that you're traveling with a fun group of young people and still get to see the main spots of the whole country made up for the time "lost" on the bus in my opinion!

Where to start! Everything about the kiwi experience adventure was awesome! The amazing drivers, the locations you stop at, the forever friends you meet aboard that green bus and so much more. If only I hadn't had a flight booked home I'd still be there!!! I loved every second!

It was a bit confusing in the start, but after a day or two it was getting easier. It is a easy was to get around in the country.

Had a very nice time and met some amazingly people! Very good bus drivers all the way from Auckland to Christchurch! Q was the best gonna miss him!!!

Suggested by my Brother the Sheep dog pass is great if you have a shorter time in New Zealand you get to see all the main places. The Maori Night was something I will never forget seeing the Culture first hand. The south Island is beautiful our Driver Hamish was very professional, knowledgeable, funny and wanted to ensure we got the best out of time on the bus. never a dull moment. Lake Tekapo was breath taking as were several others stunning lakes we seen along the way.

I’m glad I travelled with KE cause I met great people and got to see a lot. Although I wish i had known before that it’s not possible to be as flexible and spontanious as you advertise it to be during Peak season. And a small request, turn the music down in the bus. It’s Really annoying sometimes

Very Happy I did this. A great way do explore new Zealand but you should recommend people staying longer don't just book them for a minimum time. Also just give us free WiFi intercity buses have unlimited Wi-Fi
