We booked this hoping to meet new people and have some of the headache of trying to plan a route through New Zealand removed - it did exactly that! Our main bus driver Tim was awesome and was more like a tour guide than a bus driver, definitely helped make the trip. Unfortunately it seems a little hit or miss with drivers as some did purely drive and were of little help during the journey. Kiwi bus is a great and easy way to see New Zealand - it doesn’t advertise the cheapest optional extras in winter (accommodation and activities) but they are always happy for you to do your own thing and I can imagine it does provide cheaper options compared to summer months. Had an awesome month would recommend, and if your bus driver is rubbish just get off and wait for the next!

Was a little unsure about booking kiwi at first being a couple as I heard it was just a party bus and we wanted to not be hungover all the time and see all the amazing things! But it was nothing like that.. you could party all the time if you wanted (some people did) but there was such a great mix of people on the bus that you didn't feel bad if you didn't want to drink all the time etc but has the opportunity to when you did! Our bus driver Dillon was what made the trip one of the best ever he was amazing!! So helpful and knew so many cool things about the country.. was funny but not cringy and let the bus sleep or listen to music when needed! He was generally what made the trip so great ams took us to so many unreal places.. we also had toddy and dave for a short period to and they are alsk great!! obviously THE most amazing thing was NZ itself!! honestly never seen more beautiful place in all my life.. so much natural beauty and kiwi takes you to all the best places and on some stunning walks. They offer so many activities also which are so easy to book as they pass clipboards around sthe bus each day which you just sign your name up to! We didn't do that many activities as we were a little tight on money but it didn't matter because we still got to see and do so much there is so much free and amazing things to do on NZ. Can't recommend kiwi enough they were great from start to finish so easy to contact to change bookings and anything you need!! Definitely go with them best 3 weeks ever you get to meet so many cool people on the bus too!!

Nice car but too much noise driving in highways

I bought the pass approx. in january and went on the tour in june.

Good. Pretty economical considering its almost 8 metres long. Heater didnt work. Plenty of storage. Had truck kick up item at me putting dint in gas surround, will rate more later based on response.
